Shadow Coaching™ OEC454

The program:

Experienced coaches: what new skill will advance your organizational/executive practice? In this two-day workshop, Donna Karlin introduces her internationally acclaimed method of shadowing, a particularly effective advanced application of reflective and observational coaching. This real-time learning approach develops refined self-awareness by reflecting on clients’ actual day-to-day practice. As a result, clients become self-observers for the long term and coaches expand their practice and their capabilities.

Team Coaching - The ‘Living Systems Approach’

Facilitators: Adria Trowhill, MCC and Jeanie Nishimura, PCC

If you have a passion for coaching groups and teams to realize their maximum potential, you will want to attend the upcoming workshop for Collaborative Work Groups and Teams, with Adria Trowhill, MCC, Canadian Coach of the Year, and Jeanie Nishimura, PCC, Prism Award winners.

The ‘Living Systems Approach’ is a method that transforms groups and teams through conversations and experiential activities that evolve specifically from the teams unique context and mandate.

You can expect to learn about a coaching approach that:

  • Confronts difficult issues positively
  • Supports alignment on vision and purpose
  • Clarifies goals and accountabilities
  • Initiates cultural change
  • Increases overall performance capacity, and
  • Works effectively with teams in crisis

This three day course is structured as a living lab, inviting participants to claim their place in organized systems as a team coach. A variety of strategies and tools are used to enhance the learning. Opportunities to bring forward actual challenges being faced in the implementation of the classroom learning will also be provided.

Prerequisites: 20 hours of coach specific training from an accredited coaching school, OR group facilitation training and experience. Participants in this course will receive 18 pre-approved Continuing Education Credits.
